Vietnam recorded 78 more Covid-19 patients on May 10 morning, after the daily new cases hit all time high of 92 on Sunday.

The new cases are recorded in nine different localities, with the northern provinces of Bac Ninh recording 27, Vinh Phuc 19, the central Da Nang City 13, capital city Hanoi nine, the northern provinces of Bac Giang five and Hoa Binh two. The northern provinces of Dien Bien and Lang Son, and the Central Highlands' Dak Lak Province reported one each.

On May 9, 2021, the patient was positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
